Theresia Steiger
Epigenetic Mechanisms of Plant Reproduction
Main Focus
I am pleased to
contributing my more than 18 years of experience as a technical assistant in
the fields of protein purification, biophysical, micro- and molecular
biological methods and laboratory management to Prof. Claudia Köhler's department. I am happy to take up new ideas and implement
them in the daily laboratory work to ensure a smooth and efficient working day
for all employees.
In addition to that I
support Daniela Barro Trastoy (PostDoc) in her research on endosperm evolution.
Her work focuses on the integration of molecular biology and bioinformatics to
investigate the role of MADS box genes in endosperm development and how
transposable elements may have influenced their evolutionary development.
