Prof. em. Dr. Dr. h. c. Mark Stitt
Prof. Dr. Mark Stitt led the Metabolic Networks Department from 2001 to 2021. His department studied a wide set of physiological processes involved in orchestrating photosynthesis, carbon metabolism, nitrogen and phosphate utilisation, storage and growth. The Department used physiogical, biochemical, molecular, genetic and Systems approaches.
