The Carbon Biology group of Dr. Björn Usadel studies the link between Carbon status, minor carbohydrate metabolism and the cell wall. They have chosen to follow an integrativ approach employing "omics" techniques, as well as bioinformatic and systems biology approaches and targeted biological experiments.
