On 7 May 2019, Der Tagesspiegel is hosting the third World Food Convention in Berlin. As networking partner we invite you to participate at the event and discuss with 500 decision makers from politics, industry, diplomacy, NGOs as well as science and academia the most burning issues of global food production and distribution.

What does the future of agriculture look like? How can we preserve our planet and feed nine billion people by 2050? How can technology help to fuel change in the food market? What is the future of our global food system and what role does the consumer play?

Expect more than 500 decision-makers from politics and diplomacy, industry and associations, NGOs and start-ups discussing the future of agriculture, human eating behavior, food of the future and governmental interventions.
We are glad to announce Julia Klöckner, Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture , Dr. Gerd Müller, Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development and Pete Pearson, Director Food Waste at WWF as our keynote speakers. The conference will be moderated by our Tagesspiegel journalists Lorenz Maroldt, chief editor, Dr. Anna Sauerbrey, member of the editorial board, and Christoph von Marschall, diplomatic correspondent of the main editorial office.

The event will be held in English with simultaneous translation into German.
