Job Code: 17/24
Job offer from October 30, 2024
The MPI for Molecular Plant Physiology in Potsdam is looking for a Postdoc (m/f/d) in the group Root Biology and Mycorrhiza of Caroline Gutjahr. The position is available immediately.
Background
The Gutjahr lab is interested in understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying the colonization of plant roots by symbiotic arbuscular mycorrhiza fungi. Using proximity labelling have identified interacting proteins of important regulators of root colonization. The project aims at confirming and characterizing the cellular and biochemical functions of the interacting proteins in AM symbiosis. Applicants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with publications on arbuscular mycorrhiza and especially from the group to ensure their interest in our research. If you want to know more about the institute or the group, please have a look on our homepages. For specific questions please contact Caroline Gutjahr.
