A Highlight from Golm

Research of the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology belongs to the scientific highlights at the SEB-Meeting

July 14, 2014
During the annual meeting of the Society of Experimental Biology (1st - 4th of July 2014, Manchester) the organizers chose different scientific highlights among the various projects. One of those highlights was the project presented by Dr. Maria Annunziata from the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology in Golm.

Dr. Maria Grazia Annunziata from Prof. Dr. Mark Stitt’s group presented a poster to show her latest results about the regulation of starch metabolism in Arabidopsis thaliana. In particular, she introduced the “novel starch excess 1” mutant, that she could identify in the SALK collection of homozygous A. thaliana T-DNA insertion lines. This project was chosen as one of the meeting’s highlights and described in a press release by Caroline Wood.
